New Related Posts + Thumbnails (Alternatif selain LinkWithin)

Sudah pernah memasang widget related posts dari layanan Linkwithin? kalo belum, paling tidak rekan pernah melihat widget ini ya. sebagai contoh rekan bisa melihat contoh widget tersebut di blog saya yang versi english disini dan disini. silahkan buka salah satu postingan saya, dan lihat sample widget tersebut pada akhir postingan.







Nah, Kali ini saya coba berbagi lagi tutorial alternarif pengganti layaknya widget Linkwithin, tampilannyapun sangat mirip sekali. Tapi yang ini agak berbeda, dan kita mesti repot sedikit karena semua dilakukan secara manual. Widget ini sebenarnya sudah dibahas tuntas oleh pembuatnya Aneesh diblognya disini



Biar gak bingung saya translate aja ya caranya disini:



1. Pertama, masuk dulu ke halaman Edit HTML, jangan lupa memberi tanda centang pada  "Expand Widget Templates"




2. Cari kode ini </head>




3. Kemudian ganti dengan kode dibawah ini

Membuat Barcode dengan Barcode Generator

Barcode merupakan simbol berbentuk garis-garis yang menyatakan suatu kode atau string karakter. Simbol ini biasanya hanya dapat dibaca oleh mesin barcode scanner. Salah satu contoh barcode adalah simbol yang ada di produk di toko atau supermarket yang sering kita lihat. Bila dijabarkan berdasarkan tipe, sebenarnya banyak sekali tipe barcode ini menurut kegunaan. nah berhubung saya bukan ahli barcode, jadi saya hanya menjelaskan cara instan membuatnya saja ya, untuk bahasan sejauh itu silahkankan digoogling sendiri, sudah banyak kok yang ngebahasnya :)



Cara membuat 2d Barcode Image




Cara paling mudah menghasilkan gambar barcode bisa langsung mengunakan layanan barcode generator via morovia.com pada contoh ini saya mengunakan "code 128" sebagai format barkode. jika tidak ingin barcode dibaca oleh manusia, kita dapat menghapusnya dengan tidak memberi tanda centang pada "Show Human Readable Text". Bila masih kurang puas, kita bisa mencari lebih banyak lagi "barcode generator" lainnya pada mesin pencari.



Cara membuat QR Code symbols



Berbeda dengan barkode standar, sebenarnya kita dapat juga menggunakan QR kode symbol. Dengan menggunakan kata kunci “QR Code Generator” di search engine, kita dapat menemukan beberapa QR Code Generator seperti morovia, invx, SnapMaxe QR Code Generator dan Kaywa QR-Code




Cara Decode Barcode Image


Seperti yang saya katakan diatas, untuk bisa membaca ulang pengcodean pada barcode kita paling tidak harus menggunaan mesin scanner khusus. cuman untuk bisa melakukan hal tersebut rasanya buang-buang waktu saja ya :D. Kalo mau cara instannya coba tuju saja langsung ke layanan online ini zxing.org



Mau lebih kreatif? kenapa tidak dimanfaatkan barkode ini dengan memasangnya pada setiap postingan, biar lebih gimana gitu hehehe

A recent article in Momlogic.com focuses on earlobe lifts as the latest beauty craze. According to the article people are now paying upwards of $2000 to have their earlobes lifted and reshaped. Is this true?

I often perform earlobe repairs, ranging from fixing a torn earlobe to removing the extra skin from earlobes stretched by those God-awful stretching rings. While people are usually really happy with the results, the procedures always leave scars. And...I don't charge anywhere near $2000 for it.

Women, what would you think if you woke up looking at this guy every morning? Yikes!

Breathingearth: Simulasi Statistik jumlah penduduk didunia

Mengamati populasi jumlah penduduk didunia mungkin bukan topik populer pada blog ini.
Tapi paling tidak informasi ini sangat berguna bagi kita yang sekedar hanya ingin melihat berapa banyak pertumbuhan manusia didunia yang tercatat sampai detik ini.  Dengan bantuan tools online bernama breathingearth.net kita dapat memantau bertumbuhan manusia setiap detiknya.  Animasi populasi yang ditayangkan memperlihatkan pada simulasi kelahiran, kematian dan emisi C02 setiap negara berbeda.







Data animasi dan simulasi ini didasarkan pada statistik yang sebenarnya, sehingga kemungkinan besar data ini memiliki kepastian tentang hasilnya. Diprogram oleh Dawid Blejer, yang telah menerbitkan proyek-proyek berkualitas disitusnya.

Coed Magazine has a fun post about their Top 10 Celebs Whose Boobs Are Just Too Big. A couple are obvious (Pam Anderson and Dolly Parton), a couple I've never heard of (Serena Kozakura, Chantelle Houghton), and the last one is a doozy. 10,000 cc?!??! That's 30 of my average size implants, all in one breast. Crazy!

Florida Woman Brain Dead After Carboxytherapy or Liposuction

There have been several news reports about a woman, Rohie Kah, who is currently lying brain dead in a Florida hospital after undergoing treatments at a local medspa. Apparently she underwent liposuction or carboxytherapy treatments by a physician, Dr. Omar Brito, who is actually an occupational medicine physician. The actual cause of her brain death has not been released.

What is carboxytherapy? This is a fringe-type procedure that is only performed by a handful of physicians in the United States. Carbon dioxide is injected under the skin in an attempt to increase blood flow to the area and maybe even disrupt fat cells. I know of no scientific studies that have validated its safety or efficacy. This is not a procedure that I would recommend at this time, and I would bet 95% of plastic surgeons have not even heard of it.

What's an occupational medicine physician doing performing cosmetic treatments anyway? Just as I, a board-certified plastic surgeon, have no place performing brain surgery, this doctor (and so many others like him) has no place performing plastic surgery.
